Terms of Service
Last updated July 15, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Vochestra (“we”, “us”) when you buy or use the Vochestra macOS app. By purchasing a license or using the app, you agree to them.
1. Your license
Vochestra is sold as a one-time, perpetual license — not a subscription. When you pay, one natural person receives a non-exclusive license to install and use the app within the selected plan. Personal activates 1 Mac and is for individual non-commercial use. Pro activates up to 3 Macs and permits that individual to use Vochestra for employment, freelance, or other commercial work. Founder permits the same individual commercial use on any number of Macs. Each activated Mac must be used exclusively by the license holder for Vochestra, whether the Mac is personally owned or assigned by an employer. Coworkers, clients, family members, and other people may not use the key or its activated copies.
Terminal scale. A live terminal means any running coding-agent or shell terminal on Vochestra's canvas; a closed or exited terminal does not count. Personal permits 1 at a time per Mac, Pro permits up to 5 at a time per Mac, and Founder has no Vochestra-imposed terminal cap. The limit does not restrict which supported agent providers you may choose. Actual capacity and availability still depend on your Mac, installed tools, provider accounts, subscriptions, quotas, and terms. All supported Mac/browser voice controls, safety, privacy, and reliability behavior are included on every plan.
Workspace scale. A workspace is a Vochestra project context bound to one folder and containing its own terminals, browsers, captures, and saved layout. Personal includes 1 workspace, Pro includes up to 3 workspaces, and Founder includes unlimited workspaces. Workspace deletion removes only Vochestra's workspace record and saved canvas state; it does not delete, move, rename, or modify the selected project folder or its files. Live-terminal limits apply globally across all open workspaces on that Mac.
Updates. Personal includes updates released during the first year after purchase, Pro includes updates released during the first 2 years after purchase, and Founder includes lifetime desktop updates for the supported lifetime of the Vochestra desktop product. After a Personal or Pro window ends, the app keeps working — you simply keep the covered version you have, or renew update access if offered. No update term guarantees that Apple or a third-party provider will keep its platform or integration available.
Earlier paid licenses. A paid license purchased before the current terminal-scale and use-right terms took effect on July 11, 2026 retains both the feature-scale entitlement and use rights presented when it was purchased. We do not retroactively replace those rights with a lower current-plan limit or a new non-commercial restriction.
Recorded grandfathering. If a paid order or license issued during the deployment transition explicitly records a grandfathered terminal-scale entitlement, that recorded no-Vochestra-terminal-cap scale governs for that license; its use rights remain the rights shown when it was purchased. Removing, changing, or bypassing current checkout information does not create grandfathered status. A current checkout with missing or invalid purchase provenance is held for review rather than automatically issued a license.
Early-access Founder trial. Approved applicants may receive a complimentary 30-day Founder trial with Founder terminal and workspace scale, individual commercial-use rights, and unlimited Macs used exclusively by the trial holder. The 30 days start on the first successful activation. The trial expires automatically, requires no payment method, and creates no automatic charge. Continuing after expiry requires purchasing a paid plan. A trial is not a paid perpetual Founder license and does not provide access or updates after its trial period; paid Founder licenses remain perpetual and include lifetime desktop updates.
Transfers. Your license is for you. You may move it to a different Mac (for example, a new computer) with our help — just contact us. You may not resell, sublicense, or share your key.
2. What you bring
Vochestra does not include AI usage. You bring your own Google Gemini API key and your own coding-agent tools and subscriptions. You are responsible for those accounts, their costs, and complying with their terms. Vochestra never charges you for AI usage.
3. Acceptable use
- Don't use the app to break the law or to harm others' systems or data.
- Don't reverse-engineer, tamper with, or circumvent the license or update mechanisms, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
- Don't share, resell, or redistribute your license key or the app binary.
The app can, at your direction and within supported integrations and macOS permissions, run agents, type into accessible app controls, inspect requested screen or local context, and perform tool actions. Some actions ask for confirmation, and some adapters can report only a pending or uncertain result. You are responsible for reviewing your request and any confirmation before the app acts on your behalf.
4. Payments
Purchases are processed by Creem, our Merchant of Record, who appears on your statement and handles billing and any applicable taxes. Prices are shown in USD. Completing a purchase authorizes that charge.
5. Refunds
Because Vochestra is delivered digitally, we generally do not offer change-of-mind refunds after delivery or activation. This does not limit mandatory consumer rights or remedies under applicable law. Please see our Refund Policy for details.
6. Intellectual property
The Vochestra app, name, and branding are ours. Your license grants you the right to use the app — it doesn't transfer ownership of the software or any intellectual property in it.
7. Disclaimer & limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We do our best to make Vochestra reliable, but we don't guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted, and it can act on your Mac at your instruction — use it thoughtfully and keep backups. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the app or these terms is limited to the amount you paid for your license.
8. Suspension
We may revoke a license that was obtained fraudulently, charged back, shared in violation of these terms, or used to abuse the service.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the date above will change and the current version will always be posted here. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the new terms.
10. Governing law & contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, where the operator is based. Questions? Email info@vochestra.app.
