Setup guide
From download to first command
Vochestra is a voice command layer for supported Mac, browser, and coding-agent workflows. It is not Siri, and it does not include AI usage or agent subscriptions.
Step 1
Confirm your Mac
You need an Apple Silicon Mac running macOS 15 (Sequoia) or later. Intel Macs and older macOS versions cannot run current builds.
Step 2
Get a license key
Buy a plan, or wait for an approved trial email. The key arrives at the checkout or invite address after we issue it. A Creem payment receipt is not the key.
Step 3
Download and install
Download the latest build, open the zip, and move Vochestra to Applications. Open it from Applications so Gatekeeper can verify the Developer ID signature.
Step 4
Activate
On the activation screen, enter the same email the key was sent to and the VOCH- key. The app unlocks on this Mac. Repeat on any extra Macs included with your plan.
Step 5
Connect a Google Gemini API key
Onboarding will not continue without a working Gemini key. Create one in Google AI Studio, paste it, and let Vochestra check it. Google bills any usage on that key.
Step 6
Grant permissions
Microphone is required. Screen Recording, Accessibility, Speech Recognition, and Music control unlock the matching features. You can finish later, but voice needs the microphone.
Step 7
Say the first command
Press ⌥Space (or your chosen hotkey) and try: “Open a Claude terminal and ask it to explain this repo.” The agent must already be installed if you want that workflow.
